That's the point. Nobody wants to know her story. They're trying so hard to make us like her and be interested in her that it's making us not. It's like Vega in ME3; suddenly new character we're supposed to love, and it's so obvious we're supposed to love them we actually can't.

(disclaimer: I am referring to what I have gathered of popular opinion around here and the Internet in general. I realize I do not represent everyone.)
