I actually like the Metro interface. The way I used Windows 7 translates perfectly to 8 without any obtrusiveness. Its funny because it seems like the way they worked things out, it would work well for "power users" and their workflows, but it seems most "power users" workflows didn't involve all the neat little shortcuts I use.
For example, since Vista, I've been hitting the start key and typing (part of) the name of the program I want to run and hitting enter. Quick, simple, and it still works in Win8.
