Wait what? I never concluded that they were lying. I actually interpeted it literally, that the BR was the only one that had auto-aim adjusted. If you really want to know what threw me off, it's the fact that they directly mention auto-aim with the BR and with all of the AR type weapons, but not with the other ranged weapons. So yeah, if that was their use of defining what the auto-aim tweak was, I definitely didn't get that.
