Really, the only thing that needed to be touched was the DMR. They should have either A) reduced the aim assist to the bare minimum necessary for it to work properly, or B) brought back the same level of bloom as in vanilla Reach. The H4 DMR as it currently exists simply has way too much aim assist for a weapon that accurate in a game that uses hitscan.

Of course, all of this might have never have been a problem if they had a public beta. They really need to have one for Halo 5, that way they can work out as many of the kinks in the game's balance as possible before the game is released.
