Halo canon has been dead to me for a while-- not in a way like I've been betrayed or kicked out or disgusted; it's like a good friend that passed away from something that could've been helped but not totally cured
most destructive:
Halo 2-- a Hunter on Gravemind hit me and one of the vibration motors in the controller I was using shattered its own housing
biggest WTF moments:
Halo 1-- Flood reveal: "WTF did I just see and WTF were those things?"
Reach-- Lone Wolf: "Post-credits level, whaaat?"
Halo 3-- Legendary ending: "WTF was that?"; in the game proper, the Cortana and Gravemind moments (also "WTF was that?")
Halo 2-- The Arbiter: "Wait, I'm an Elite? I'm that Elite? ...What?"; tied with the ending, and lowering the QZ shield is also tied or right behind those: "WTF did I just do? wait... I let them out?!"
Halo 4-- the ending: "WTF is going on?"
ODST-- Data Hive: "WTF, she's alive?"
