: I don't know this for sure, but it seems like Halo 4 didn't have the
: smoothest development (not as bad as Halo 2, but still pretty bumpy). I'm
: kinda hoping that it becomes more apparent in the future, and 343
: continues to improve and work out their kinks.
The more I hear about Halo 4, the more I see the parallels to Halo 2-- the engine limitations, the grand story hampered by its implementation, and now the issue of "vision". Bungie's fundamental flaw with Halo 2 was they tasted huge success and naturally wanted to build on that, but their process was essentially to try and do that the same way they'd always made games, and that didn't work.
