I purchased the Ultimate Rapture Edition because of the value it brought up, including all the DLC is definitely the way to go for compilation packages (*Stares daggers* Mass Effect Trilogy). I had barely any interest in BioShock, only playing through the first one after borrowing it and even then only getting in a few levels. Now I've completed Bioshock in it's entirety and am starting up Bioshock 2. Pair that with having kept up with Infinite's trailers and news, I've become a newly appreciative person of the Bioshock franchise and a fan.

But, ss much as I've been hyped for Infinite, I've become cautious with purchases this year. For one this it's technically the final year for this generation's consoles and I don't want to be stuck with games that end up not being backwards compatible on the 720/Durango/Whatever They Call It. The other reason, it means that at this point price drops happen much quicker even for best-selling games. So I think I'll hold off, unless a really big urge comes over me.
