: Kermit was right. This is definitely a minority opinion. Bioshock 1 was
: incredible. It is one of the most atmospheric games ever made, and the
: subtle nuances of morality and how it pertains to the story is nothing
: short of breathtaking.

I complained about the mechanics of the game, myself, when playilng; the mission design too. They felt dated to me, particularly after the Halo games.

Still, I played it through to the end because the story (and DAT PLOT TWIST as you put it) kept pulling me along. Bioshock's brilliance cames from the storytelling, and I don't thnk the story could have been told more effectively in any other manner. I definitely hold the writers in high regard.

-- Steve will admit that he has no interest in replaying Bioshock and didn't play the first sequel, due to the mechanics, but the universal acclaim may yet get him to give Infinite a try.
