Oh, were we still strictly talking about taunting from a vehicle? I guess I can't recall off the top of my head if they do it from vehicles in Halo 1; I *feel* like I see it occasionally, but as you said it's definitely not common.

Yeah, it definitely comes across as glitchy in Halo 4, as though the marine AI is only being updated about targets every couple seconds or so.
