"Alleged" indeed. Still broke as fuck.
Nobody showed up for Customs last night, so I tried going into matchmaking with some friends. In the four-hour span between 9:30 PM and 1:30 AM, I managed a grand total of six matches. Assuming 8 minutes per match (because there's no way to keep track apparently), that's not even an hour of gameplay. IN FOUR FUCKING HOURS! It's not like we were sitting in the lobby just shootin' the shit. The party system is still broken as fuck, with our group disassembling after almost every match. Matchmaking times are still ludicrous. I tried going into MM alone afterwards, got a couple of matches in a decent amount of time, but then two subsequent times I had long wait times followed by the game crashing on me. This game has been out for going on a month and this is, what, the fourth patch? Yet the game's MP component is still an utter disaster. When I actually get into matches, it can be great fun, but "when" is the key word there, and it's not often. Through no fault of my own, I'm still spending vastly more time in the lobbies trying to either find matches or trying to get a group assembled than actually playing the damn game.
My patience is running out, fast. I decided to maybe wait until the Halo 5 beta until I make my final decision on whether to sell my XBO, but it seems like every time I try to play multiplayer I end up feeling like I should just say "fuck it" and wash my hands of the whole thing. I feel like my time and my money are not being respected. I just plain feel ripped off. This could have easily been one of the greatest compilations ever, up there with Super Mario All-Stars, yet it's just a disaster. I'm just shaking my head in exasperation right now. I was excited for the MCC, especially for the chance to play Halo 1 MP on XBL for the first time ever,
