Actualy, now that I've listened to the voice in the fourth movie, it sounds fine. I get a laugh out of watching her miss the jump kick though. Also, the background seems inactive(it felt like there should have been... something. I'm not sure what. Maybe music, but not the standard techno music we hear all the time over games, maybe some nice dramatic tension building music), but there's too much noise on the movie to really be certain. Oh yeah, we also have some crates.

There's only two episodes of Battle Angel, but there's a bunch of comics(under the name gunnm) I believe that galley was a cyborg constructed from what was an adult female, but I'm not certain. She was made to look like a child because the guy who remade her wanted her to remain innocent. However, all sorts of combat training memories begin to surface, so he gives her a new body designed for combat. Offhand, I'd say yes it fits decently with what we suspect about konoko. The question is was Amanda Winn an apropriate choice for Galley? I've heard some objections to that.

Shinatama, the concept, remindes me a lot of the boomer who could control the satilites in BGC(I can't remember any names, but oh well), but I doubt that the characterization is at all similar.
