Well, when I Downloaded the first movie (lets get it on) and heard konoko take a minor brush with that gun and heard that girly welp or burp or whatever it was, I was VERY concerned... But once I downloaded the one where she actually talks, I think the voicing was perfectly acceptable. I'm glad they didn't butcher it. I was thinking, the only thing that could really turn me off from oni is if they butchered the voices like they so often do. But I can tell shinitama is going to get annoying real fast. I generally don't even like the idea of her character at all. Oni doesn't need comic releaf, and especially something so pink and baybyish... I agree with the person who brought up the point about the style oni is going for. It's not exactly hyper realistic like Ghost in the shell, but its definently not all toonified either, and shinitama seems totally out of place. Shinatamas voice certainly fits the character, but so what? That doesn't make it any less anoying... Ok, prolly pissed off all the forum zealots now. Sorry, just my 2 cents.. | |
