: you think of these opinions or the points that the opinions refer to.
Ok, I have to say that ALL of the above opinions are valid...becuase they're opinions.

This is the thing that I really don't understand: the PC/Mac gaming market is saturated with a handful of gaming genres, the games of which are seperated by distinctions such as "I like the BFG better", or "I like the Terrans better."

Maybe Oni is not up to the earth-shattering standards set by Bungie in the past, but it still shines in its own right. I am blown away by the ease of control and the variety of moves available, just in the first couple of levels. The decision to take Oni in an anime direction is a question of artistic execution, and you can't say you don't like it just becuase it isn't Shogo...

Bungie deserves to have some artistic liscence with thier creations. Look at the variety of outstanding games they've produced! I mean, to be fair, with the exception of sequels (the Marathon trilogy, Myth & Myth 2), they CREATE a new gaming experience FROM THE GROUND UP with each, new game. You can't tell someone that you don't like what they did just because it is different from what they did the time before; you can't be pissed becuase Bungie didn't make Myth or Marathon over again. Bungie should be priased for crafting games that are EXPERIENCES not just bloobaths or key-hunts.

Maybe the graphics aren't as flashy as certain other games or every other aspect conformed to your precise liking. If that is the case, deal. Someone will ALWAYS be making another FPS or resource-gathering/"strategy" game that is imperceptably different from the previous one.
