In Response To: Re: Oops...sorry, Jesse... (Jesse) I think what got me most about it... the posts presented for 'discussion' are the opinions of unknown private individuals. The person who packaged the opinions up for discussion seemed to choose only the ones which match his viewpoint. Different people want Oni to be different things. I personally wouldn't mind Oni being a clean enough game such as to be a good role model for a young lady. (But it should also be free of stereotypes for that to work, but that's another story.) If I judge whether or not Oni sucks by whether or not Oni is a good game for a twelve-year-old action/adventure game fan to play...then I'm missing the point. Oni is Oni. Oni is not what I wish Oni to be. It's : annoying since the similarity is the perspective and the character's sex. : Third person perspective has been around for a long time, and an action : game -in particular a fighting game- has to let you see what you're : doing... no choice there. And calling it a tomb raider rip-off because : they both have female protagonists is insulting. I think I've gotten over : it enough to notice that it's actualy the opinions of several different : people... I was quite pissed off initialy(which is why I declined : posting).
