That would make sense for Halo Reach, if your enemy has a sprint armor ability, and you don't. (Worst Halo multiplayer out of all of them IMO).

Except, in Halo 5, everyone has F-Zero cars, and there's penalties for boosting around too much that can cost you the race. F-Zero is way more interesting than Gran Turismo (#shotsfired). Individuals can escape and engage in battle with more ease, which makes the game more dynamic/interesting than frustrating to me personally.

I've never been frustrated that someone escaped battle -- I either wasn't in the right position, or I didn't make my shots. If they're close by, thanks to their shields not recharging, I can just chase them as I've been doing and finish them off. I'm asking these questions so I can get a deeper understanding on the hatred of sprint. I can understand for Reach and Halo 4, but I feel like these changes for Halo 5 really balances it out.

TBH, I'm a player who loves fast-twitch games versus slow, so probably another reason I enjoy it. A guy trying to ground pound me, and I have the reaction ability to thrust out of the way mid-action -- so fun, so something I wouldn't have been able to do in Halo 1.
