: A lengthy read, but well worth it if you care about Halo.

Clearly there was a lot of thought put into this, and I agree with some of it, but I'm also kind of baffled by the contradictions. First sprint and other new movement abilities are unacceptable because they drag out encounters and matches, but then he complains kill times are too short and there's no way to exit a bad situation. Which is it?

Then elsewhere on Waypoint, these guys were complaining about the constant praise and indicators of success in Halo 4... They demanded a more competitive game. Until they got one, that is, now they think a progress meter that can go down after a bad performance must be broken.

343 just can't win. Doesn't matter, they'll all buy Halo 5 anyway. :p
