After 8 full years of playing each new Halo title, I still play weekly with many of the friends I started with. A few dropped out and at least one died but each month brings in a new friend and steady Halo player.

Even with all of its warts, Halo 4 is a very playable and enjoyable title for us.

Whenever a new Halo title comes out, there are always the same songs and dances about the older titles being better. Perhaps Halo 4's flaws have given louder voices to the singers this time. While it frustrates me to read some of the ridiculous complaints there are valid ones as well.

I suppose if I never had any Halo friends I'd see the situation differently.
