And numbers are good, but we interpret it from our perspective.

We need to know that 343 sees the result the same way we do. If they think they were successful (hitting their goals, doing a good job in their eyes, catering to the people they want to cater to) then it won't matter how much noise we make, they'll keep going the way they're going.

Another reason I wish 343 were more active on these forums, to at least have some kind of response or just recognition of the things discussed here (even if they ignore the 'haters' - we'd still know they're at least reading :P)

Numbers are just numbers.
They need to be interpreted, or have some frame of reference (give us their target numbers too perhaps!)
