There are plenty of people who don't like the direction 343 has gone with Halo 4 - and that's fine. I don't have a problem with that; I disagree with a lot of the complaints, but I agree with some of them, and I am totally okay with ALL of them being aired.

What I have a problem with is the idea that it's okay to PERSONALLY ATTACK MEMBERS OF THE STUDIO because you're unhappy with the direction of the game.

Making snarky comments about bs angel and the activities she chooses to participate in in her spare time is a pretty good way to get me to discount ANYTHING you say about the studio - if you can't tell the difference between the people and the product, why should I even listen to you?

I left GAF a year ago because it had devolved into this sort of ad hominem bullshit. I really don't want to leave this place - I helped build it. But I can't really stomach the idea that just because you're unhappy with the way 343 has chosen to go with the Halo franchise, that it's okay to take potshots at the people who provide a face for that company.

When HBO gets to the point where it's okay to act that way, I don't want to be part of HBO. That's what I was saying.
