Video game development needs to be a vastly more transparent process, especially when games are so expensive and subscriptions extend the life of a game for months down the road at a premium. I don't want news of internal strife in a studio coming out only after a game has been released and faces controversy for its lackluster content. Publishers and developers need to sell their game to us not only for our money and time but also for their reputation's sake.

I think the issues with TMCC really left a sour taste in the mouths of many Halo fans, like around the number of anyone who tried to play matchmaking. I don't think their voices are really drowned out, but absent considering the patches and stuff for the game, in addition to their interest in something new like the Guardians Beta.
