If you're referring to Mike Colter or Jennifer Hale, which I'm sure you are, then voice talent can only go so far when you're given rather tasteless material and guidelines to work with. Not to mention that this is Mike Colter's very first outing as a voice actor with Halo. He's an otherwise joy to see on film when given the right material to work with. I doubt even the likes of Daniel Day Lewis or Sir Patrick Stewart could have made Nightfall or the Halo 5 prologue any better.
