For some reason, this is what I always expected. I thought by dedicated servers they meant multiplayer matchmaking only and everything else would operate as it always has. Doesn't affect my excitement for this amazing, unprecedented deal of a game, but I can understand the disappointment of those that might have thought dedicated servers for everything. Not sure how you came across that expectation honestly, but if I were expecting that too, I'd be disappointed too.
