: Nobody quits out of a game they're winning. Nobody quits out of a competitive
: game. Nobody quits if they have decent teammates. So what does that mean?
Now we can't forget the other variables. People quit because the gametype sucks, people quit because the map sucks, people quit because they lost interest, etc.
I've won a ton of JIP games, just as I've lost in JIP games. I've also commonly experienced being in an 8v1 game, and overall, I prefer JIP as long as the window of joining is where it makes sense to be. You shouldn't be able to join a game when the game is about to end.
I would love a system similar to Halo PC's, where you can choose a server to play on. It'd be nice if said server told you the game's map, how much time was remaining, player count on both sides, etc. I say give the player more choices, and chill on the automatic matchmaking experience we've had all these years.
