I think, maybe i am wrong, that the journeymen or heron guards are somewhat inmortal or live longer than the others; they can heal and know the plants, also soulblighter was damas (a good guy)and he prolongated his life. and check this:

and if a year in myth was different then the dates and entries in the journal should be different, with less months, maybe we missed that if one or several months dont appear?
in any case i think as i said that jmen and heron guards live a lot of years, more than one thousand at least.
