: I don't think they intended the Jorunal writer to be
: anyone as such.
: But he is not an Avatar or high ranking official, notice
: how he always seems to have little understanding of
: what is going on, not knowing about Connacht=Balor,
: not knowing about the head etc. I suspect how he talks
: to the avatar and other high up warriors is because he
: is a great warrior, shown be being picked for vital
: tasks. I suspect when your one of the few survivors of
: battles and attacks you end up talking to high ranking
: officials.
: An interesting thing about the way the Journal is written
: is that everyone is third-person, possibly because he
: wants to give a clear historic description or because
: he belongs to none of the groups he mentions.
: Excluding, Dwarves, Avataras, wizards, Zerks, Fir'bolg.
: An alternative idea is that he is a human archer, in Myth
: II this is the most likely. Perhaps the Fir'bolg
: trained a few humans in archery, or perhaps the
: Journal writer was one of the few human archers
: remaining?
Great one !
I agree, maybe he was training there, or he was just an warrior, but, wonder, with all that time of serving wouldn´t he get a promotion, maybe the journal passed hand-by-hand
