and THAT has the emergency beamout feature. We don't really understand the tech but can retrofit it to our suits. I bet Halsey did it. But, I suppose, she could cannibalise some downed prometheans but that's not my preffered option.

I actually just like the idea of the Chief getting an ancient human suit. It would be > 100,000 years old but still be an upgrade compared to our weak efforts.

I wish the Didact had had the armour of a downed human foe on display somewhere on Requiem and the Chief found it and that's why his armour changed.
