If it will, I'd wager it won't be anything recognizable. A new generation will eventually replace the current 343 developers and depending on who they hire we might even see a momentary revival of more classic-style Halo... before the people who grew up on the post-343 media take over. And then the people who grew up on the second developer generation's work. It's frightening to think what we might see on the way. Characters, themes and plots will become hyper-exaggerated parodies of themselves and internet memes and fan jokes will start snaking their way into official media. After the franchise's popularity starts taking a nose dive they might attempt a revival where they cherry-pick elements from classic Halo into a mess that is nothing but self-referential "wink wink" moments. Most material by 343 is essentially fan fiction already (after all, they claim most people in the studio are fans and very few people from the Bungie-era developer crew are involved). And there will eventually be a reboot. Probably more than one over 30 years. It's more of a question of when than if.
