Re: As someone hopefully buying an Xbox One today.
I'm in a similar but weirder place. I'm looking for deals and ways to get the console, despite the reports of bugs and issues. I was originally getting it pretty much exclusively for custom games. Now I'm getting it mostly for this wondrously fantabulous Forge-- and Forge is the only thing besides theater I haven't heard about having any issues (there probably are a few, I haven't looked at the various lists, but if no one thought they were worth talking about they must not be that bad). Custom games on the other hand are bugged out the wazoo-- better, noticeably better, but still noticeably bugged. This a) messed with a major reason for getting it and b) got me to ask, what's the fun of building stuff in Forge if I can't play on it with people? I mean, people have fun with Legos and Minecraft on their own, it would be OK for a while, but long-term I would really want to share things. It's a strange and difficult position-- I'd be spending money I don't have on a console I don't actually want for a game I can't fully play, and I would still be happy with that if wasn't for the major custom game issues.
