Don't worry mate, I did the same. I waited for my XBO purchase until there was a Halo title. I made sure I had the system and the game at MCC launch. In that aspect, I'm with you :) I typically don't play multiplayer. So pay attention to what people play more when they respond to you. More often than not, people ranting are the ones who favour multiplayer. Not everyone, but the issues really are still primarily with the online component.

I suppose if you're "lucky" like me and some others here, you'll pick it up and play the solo campaign and have zero issues, no bugs (even though there are reportedly some). Maybe I'm just fortunate like that. Right now, I for one am quite happy with my XBO+MCC purchase. That doesn't excuse the issues that 343 is having - they definitely need to be dealt with, and should have been fully tested, or better tested, before release...

However, all that to say, your enjoyment of the title will fully depend on your expectations and your hope for the future of the system and the franchise :) (some people seem to want to abandon XBO and Halo because of this; *sigh*)

Anyway. It's your money, your funds, and only you know what you will enjoy and what is acceptable to you. So I hope your experience is more positive than most others' here. (which again doesn't excuse 343 for releasing such a buggy product :P)
