It's buggy and it sucks, but when you can join parties and play games, it's amazing.

Seriously, when you are able to play with no glitches, it is seriously the greatest thing and I feel bad that 343i is having so much trouble fixing it while people constantly call them horrible developers for trying to fix it.

If you can enjoy it and tolerate the occasional bug, it's definitely worth it.
