Very little is known of the first Forerunner "Cave" recorded on P.O.M.C.-117's battle camera. His lack of exploring the environment did not bode well with ONI. A search of ONI A.I. Cortana's data banks also proved useless. At least that's what we were told. But in light of 117'a duties and the emergency of the situation, the oversight was understandable. The "Cave", as it has been called, had very little in terms of structures. Consisting mostly of a single odd path large enough to hold 6 UNSC Pelicans 3 high and 2 wide formation. The path narrowed for no clear reason leaving a unexplained gap that 117'a UBSC Warthog barely cleared at top speed. This path later opened into a enormous room to which the Covenant was guarding. With a seemingly endless drop to the right as well as a similar gap running horizontally down the center of the room, the room seemed pointless. On either side of the center gap were mirrored structures and ramps leading to Forerunner consoles. Bridging the gap was a large hard-light bridge wide and strong enough to easily support a UNSC Scorpion.
This Alpha Halo Forerunner Bridge Room has been recreated for Infinity's War Games. Additional cover has been included as the hard light bridge permanently enabled. Due to a lighting error in the Simulator's code, we were unable to set the lighting "mood" found on the Ring. We are also in the processed of fixing the aesthetics of the map's ceiling and walls and believe to have them corrected before War Games starts this coming Friday.
