I think I'd like to be Elias Carver's thesis advisor (or maybe so twice removed). Still in the Golden Age, working on predicting human interaction with algorithms and data, and helping to optimize the lives of 20+ billion people.

And in my spare time, I would be a Jewish legal expert in extraterrestrial timekeeping. (This is a wide-open field today; there isn't even agreement on the international date line).
