I would like to be maybe in one of those Army Spartan/ODST teams as a field tech or scientist.
I will get to travel to see different places and get my hands on some pretty high tech equipment.
Then again, I will be shot a lot and accidentally arm a booby trap that could blow up in my face and potentially destroy life in a surrounding system.

Armor/Weapon Design will be a cool job. Better armor than those Styrofoam abominations that the S-IVs are running around in. Also cooler guns with customization options for barrel, sights, clips, grips, and underbarrel attachments and so forth..
Along with it, probably a nice paycheck too.
