The story arc for the prowler Dusk in Ghosts of Onyx. Lash and his crew were great and presented a view of the UNSC war machine that we have yet to truly experience. That whole novel was fantastic. Nylund's writing made me really become a fan of Halo.

Oh and SURGEON-y and Preston Cole stuff. I want more of those two guys.
