- The whole biography of Preston Cole. Ulysses S. Grant IN SPACE.

- In Halo 4, after the destruction of Ivanoff Station and Cortana's despair, the return of John-117 aboard a Broadsword, his suicide mission inside of the Mantle's Approach, and finally getting to return to Earth after almost five years, but at the cost of losing Cortana.

- While I have my problems with Glasslands, Halsey's further falls from grace. Her betrayal against humanity by leading her Spartans to Onyx, Serin Osman's revenge for said stunt and for ruining her life, discovering John-117 is alive, and then losing her arm and realizing she has nowhere to go after this.

- Halo Legends: Homecoming, but I admit it's more because of the ramifications: Not every Spartan thinks Halsey was a merciful goddess (much less the washouts - even Halsey remarked that they would feel betrayed to be deformed after waiting for so long to fight), they may not be as stable as they may look (Gray team, Black team, Soren), and for me it's simply fun to theorize on what could have caused all of this.

- For a book in general, Halo: The Fall of Reach. It's simply my favorite book to read. So much fun that goes on.

- That tale, too! Human Weakness, although it's from Evolutions. Emotionally heart-wrenching. The poem at the end is truly beautiful, too.
