: Looking back, I honestly feel like The Flood is one of my favorite stories.

: Flood seems very grounded , even when compared to Nylund's pieces.

Really, that book's only failing is that it had the unenviable task of converting gameplay sections into words.

One part that I liked and that I remember very well was in the book where the Chief is at the Two-Betrayals period and comes across the weapons cache near the collapsed tunnel, and how Dietz was able to write that gameplay section into the book.

Aside from that, I also really like the flood and would love to see them return in Halo 5 and beyond.
