: I think overall, Halo 3 had my favorite ad campaign, with Believe and
: Landfall, but for some reason, Halo 2's promotion does stick out to me a
: bit more. The announcement trailer and the E3 demo were just so
: spectacular, and, for me at least, unexpected. The build up to Halo 2 was
: amazing around here, too, I think, but maybe that's just the rose colored
: glasses.
Ah! the good 'ol chAir Force. ;-) I've been in Naval Aviation (F/A-18's) my career so far. What platform are you on?
The Believe Campaigns were pretty awesome. They set a precedent of Halo as a "real" universe, for sure. Being Active Duty made me relate to it a bit more, I like to think.
This past deployment I was on, I was SO excited for Halo: Anniversary that I just kept watching the badass memorial trailer for it over and over until it came in the mail a month after it had been released! (Overall, I'd say Halo is still my favorite of the series).
My first memory of Halo was in seeing it in an EGM when it was announced for the Mac and PC. I first saw the game on Xbox at an Electronics Boutique in the mall and my brother and I split the cost of the new Xbox JUST for Halo.
