I enjoyed Cryptum for the wealth of new and exciting characters and mythos added to the universe. The action scenes were a little too convoluted for my puny human brain. Hunters in the Dark is comparatively simple with its action. Its more of people versus artificial nature than people versus totally complex engineering. In any case, yes, I did enjoy Hunters in the Dark.
It's a fun read just for the interactions between different species whether they're flesh and blood sentient, digital sentient, or wild and cute.
