Wrote up more over on FUD, but the book left me a bit lukewarm overall. I liked having characters get integrated into the lore more* but like Mortal Dictata I felt like the book... just ended, without as much of a crescendo or falling action. It also felt like the book had more characters than it needed (such as how the captain is instantly waylaid and disappears for a third of the book.)
*Based on the description, it sounds like N'tho and Usze were supposed to have been part of the Citadel up into the final room with Truth, like 4-player co-op is canon. So I guess they were just offscreen in the cutscenes. :)
