and make fully customizable controls.

No one can complain about getting exactly what they want.
No one can blame you for their own personal control scheme.
No one can come up with a better control scheme than EVERY POSSIBLE configuration in the universe.

If you want everyone to be happy, let them. Why fight so hard to not let people have what they want? Why continue to force specific controller schemes, when you can offer those exact same schemes AND customization?

Either way, PS4 is offering OS level button re-mapping. So we can hope that even if game developers ignore us, Microsoft won't.
