: in the book we're told "hey, the Covenant is preparing to assault
: earth with the largest fleet ever seen" and then that plot point gets
: discarded for the accidental discovery of Earth (which was all but spelled
: out for us ingame).

: Then ODST further convolutes things with there being a third Brute only fleet
: that belonged to Truth for Earth as well.

If they want to make it so Unyielding Heirophant was always intending to go to Earth as part of Regrets fleet and the few ships that survived are the ones that made it there, that's fine, but it's annoying that they have to turn into into this convoluted thing with separate fleets and agendas, and now they seem to further skirt the issue, unless the rest of the Terminals explain it.
