: That scares me...

'Unsure' in that I really haven't yet gathered the finer points/details about the game. The details that really make it 'Destiny'. Probably because I've only stuck to the higher level announcements/videos and haven't really put my nose into any of the assumed lore or Alpha test videos (which, still, don't completely represent the finished product).

I mean, it's a game. A very new game. That the masses (outside of Alpha and recent conventions) haven't yet actually touched. But there's the Beta, which I'm hoping will help me understand what I'll get out of the game. I have no doubts in Bungie's dev/story telling abilities, far from it, but we already know what to expect with MCC, in addition to unknowns introduced via anniversary/XBO features. Plus, with HA10, we know that 343i is pretty good about keeping to the original bits, all the while touching them up.

So it's like "oh shit, cool, an ALL-IN-ONE 'game' of everything I've had the pleasure of playing for over a decade, plus more". Versus "Bungie's next big thing...it looks and sounds cool...hope it feels cool too".

But hey, MCC is still very much a Bungie game, so it's okay to be more interested in it for now %-)

Anyway, I put on my Bungie "don't make us kick your ass" tshirt today for a reason totally unrelated to it being Bungie Day...realizing the date a few minutes later.
