: I'm not sure what went wrong with saying that halo.bungie.org isn't a viable

: I'm sorry, I don't understand.
: I just came here to ask for help for this crazy ambitious plan of mine, and I
: think I was pretty nice, but you guys really don't seem very nice.
Here's a pretty concrete reason why we responded all GIFfy and such. Whether it was intended or not, saying that HBO wasn't on the same level of community involvement as Bungie...was actually pretty insulting. Prompting Grizzlei's response(girl, I'll never be able to type that name out myself--I always have to c/p it. :-)) That gif with Waluigi getting nuked in Mario Kart is essentially supposed to represent your comment, while Luigi gives what is arguably the meanest mug I've EVER seen. That's us, collectively.
...and after that we got a little carried away. :-) But that's how we roll at HBO--we're grown, capable mature(disputable?) adults, but we like to get silly. Grizzlei's comment was meant to be taken seriously (and I'd argue that the rest of us GIFfers would say the same) but an agreement started to turn into a chain of reaction gifs and hilarity.
We honestly might have just made a damn meme here.
But back to the point, HBO is a community website that has lasted just as long as(if not longer than) Bungie itself. And Wu is the definition of community. You'll never find anyone more involved in Halo save for its creators. All this was out of his pocket, and I'm not going to ask, but I'm pretty sure it cost him a hell of a lot of money. And this is for the bare essentials, which as he's stated is all you really need.
Hold on, I gotta mouthwash, my breath smells gross.
But we all posted gifs as funny ways of saying that comment wasn't funny.
HBO: We have our own way of thinking.
