Then I recommend you not coming to one fan forum and discrediting it as "honestly not the same." This forum has existed for a decade and a half with plenty of activity from a cast of long active and newcomer posters alike. How is this not the same? The goal for any community in any setting is to provide a common ground for like-minded people to congregate and participate in a variety of regularly occurring activities. That's what each of us has helped continue as the series ages and our bones turn into dust. Because we're old.

So yeah, I respectfully ask you to not barge into a forum and criticize its culture without having taken the time to speak to a single one of us in an informal setting. It may not be ideal for you, perhaps, but it is ours.
