"People still play Halo" was something I encountered in the comments for a Huffington Post article on the upcoming Halo television projects. It's almost like Halo 4, Forward Unto Dawn, and the two book trilogies weren't serious profitable successes or brought in tons of new fans. Halo, like any source of canon for hundreds of years, can still tell great stories as time goes on. Milking be damned. I enjoy Halo because it's comfortable and I'm accustomed to the universe that has potential in so many difference ways. That's something I consider more than worthy to invest time and money in.

: was released which told a story that was completely disconnected from the

Petra was just another character four years ago or so when she debuted in her self-titled short story in the First Strike reprint. In that story, a character named "Tom" was mentioned two years before his proper debut as the main character, Tom Lasky, a fact that we didn't know until a few months ago. Today, two years further, Petra is now starring in the most recent issues of Escalation and I wouldn't be surprised at all if this isn't the last we see of her in the coming year.
