And they haven't even really touched on humanity-only stories. Civil wars, insurrection... a complete and independent story or series delving into human politics that has nothing to do with Covenant or Flood or aliens. Before any of that.
Some people may want that, some may not. I'm on the fence (not so much my cup of tea), but I can totally understand people who would enjoy that, and it provides another style of storytelling or narrative that could enrapture another segment of the community. Gamers or otherwise.
