Smart AI's are supposed to be created from the brains of people, aren't they? Cortana from a flash-clone of Halsey or something.

Long story short: Cortana is a girl. Doesn't matter that she doesn't have a corporeal form.

I'm hoping this new Spartan is a more interesting character than the other Spartan IVs.
