I've seen that tweet and I don't think it means much. There are plenty of ways around it. Maybe it's a resurrected or re-assembled Spartan being controlled by an amnesic partial or whole Cortana. It's going to be "Cortana." I just don't believe there's any way to reasonably introduce a universe-saving deuteragonist this late in the story.
