In Response To: Halo Forge Survey (SEspider)

1) The Dominion Object Set in Halo 4 was a great addition and provides a lot in terms of diversity in pieces like color coordinated one way shields , vehicle spawns and turrets.

2) Forge World. I love the addition of trees to Forge Island but the variety of terrain make Forge World amazing.

3) • The ability to re-size objects. I think its going to be more of a challenge balancing the budget with sizable objects, but if I want a long straight wall or a really tall spiral staircase I should be able to grab a size and pull to lengthen or shorten it. Makes sense to me!
• Time of day. I think it'd really mix up the generic "forge" look of maps (it got better in H4 but still...)
• Editable Terrain: Far Cry 2 had a fantastic Map editor, it certainly had its downsides (no custom buildings) but there have been so many times when I just needed to nudge the ground up or down just a little to make things smooth.
