Ok, but think, if you are JW, you has seen the most terrible nightmare: Myrkridia. Do you think you will scare of it? JW fought myrks and I don't think he would be scared to know about Cycle.
I don't know why Alric didn't tell about Cycle, mb he didn't know it, he told them what Head told him. And as we know Head didn't tell them all true. Or mb he had no time to tell all story. Nobody knows. But like I said before, there was no Balor reborn, so he couldn't have been killed before. Mb he wanted to say Connacht reborn, but not Balor reborn. Who killed Balor before? He wasn't killed, we only knows that he get out form Muirthemne and that become Balor, than he came with Dark army and The Great War begin. And before he was Connacht of The Wolf Age. So nobody could kill him before.
